Once I read this post and found it very convincing. Now when I look back this ,I just smile at it. Obviously Hangover saved him, and he was not just a tool in the film.

Why should he stick around if he knows his character won’t get major development? Yeah, he’s getting a paycheck but he’s not being challenged as an actor. His character would quickly become a dud, and be both boring for him, the writers, and the audience.

Secondly, he had a little trouble finding a good balance in his career. Oh no, like no other actor around has ever gone through that lull in their career. But he’s found success in comedies as of late – most recently in The Hangover, which has been a summer hit. He’s had a well-received guest stint on Nip/Tuck, too. He’s making his way up the ladder, slowly but surely.

Yeah, I heard that too. Except I can kind of understand why he’s in there. Kind of (and very unwillingly).

But those two? And Paul Rudd? I love Paul as much as the next girl, but please no. His “contributions” to filmmaking have been: Clueless (awesome), Apatow vehicles (not so awesome), and that bad Aniston movie.

it’s the “rihanna knows he loves her” part that kills me. howard, himself a professed stalker (and probable abuser), was the last person who needed to weigh in on this debacle.
